Looks for top seed professional tennis athletes are drenched in darker color palettes – an apparel and footwear trend we couldn’t ignore when we first started to see images from various brands on our computer screens over the past few weeks. Nike has three of its players steering towards the dark with Roger Federer and Serena Williams outfitted in shades of regal navy while Maria Shapova’s nighttime ensemble consists of a black tennis dress and black kicks.
